Position: School Psychologist
Location: Warren County
Job Opening: The Warren County ESC is now accepting applications for a school psychologist position for the 2023-2024 school year for Carlisle Local Schools The school psychologist filling this position will develop and provide a full range of comprehensive school psychological services to students, families, and schools in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. They will provide a broad range of services to meet the academic and mental health needs of students in the district to which they are assigned.
Essential Functions:
Qualifications: Candidates must have at least a Masters Degree and hold a valid Ohio Department of Education License in School Psychology and pass a background check.
Contract: Beginning August 2023
120-195 days in alignment with school calendar of district assignment
Salary: Salary per WCESC salary schedule and is commensurate with experience

Essential Functions:
- Participates in response to intervention team processes and consults with team members
- Contributes to the psycho-educational evaluation and assessment for students to determine educational needs and eligibility for special education services
- Summarize and interpret evaluation results and recommendations in written and verbal form in practical and understandable terms
- Potentially, when needed, provides counseling services within the scope of training to individuals or groups of students
- May serve as a resource to districts and buildings in crisis situations
- When requested, develops, implements, and evaluates professional development opportunities for staff and/or families within the district they serve
- Maintains an adequate system of documentation and record keeping and meets deadlines for meetings, paperwork, and other responsibilities
- Networks and makes referrals to outside agencies, when appropriate, to meet the needs of the students and families with whom they are working
- Maintains confidentiality with regard to professional situations
- Communicates with WCESC supervisor and district personnel on issues that may arise
- Effectively utilizes technology to complete assigned duties
- Displays professionalism through appearance, behavior, and attendance
