Job description

This employee intervenes with children in the community, in school and with their families to assist in managing behavioral/mental health needs. Works in a therapeutic environment to meet all aspects of youth’s mental health and address any substance use concerns. Assists schools, families, and the school team personnel in educating and coaching for accomplishing assistance to ameliorate the children’s needs. Works with community partners for wraparound treatment approach. Per clinic need, will provide behavioral health services to the adults who interact with the children, adolescents, and teens with behavioral health issues/needs.

Able to work with individuals and groups. Works with diverse age group and skill levels. Coordinates and conducts assessments, treatment planning, and crisis assistance, monitors, records, and conducts overall service delivery, and obtains services necessary via referrals outside and inside agency to assure basic human needs for this special population.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree (M.A.) or equivalent preferred. CT, LSW, LPC, LPCC or LISW. Maintain licensure and post Areas of Competence and Services. Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and yearly vehicle inspections. Must provide proof of Covid vaccination.
