Ready to join? *We are looking for a full-time PTOT Scheduling Manager who will be responsible for the development and supervision of the day to day operations of the PTOT Call Center. This position will be based at the corporate office near Oak Brook, IL.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

  • Sets up procedures, workflows and systems to implement the PTOT Call Center.
  • Manages Appointment Coordinators. Works closely with Director of Rehabilitation and Regional Services Managers as necessary to ensure specific needs are met.
  • Selects, trains, monitors, and evaluates scheduling staff.
  • Ensures adequate staff availability/coverage requirements caused by vacation, sickness, and peak work times. Implementation and management of the employees daily work schedules.
  • Ensures positive customer service atmosphere and interaction with physicians/physician teams, PTOT staff and patients.
  • Seeks Director of Rehabilitation, Facility Manager, Regional Services Manager and staff feedback to ensure interactions are appropriate. Investigates and resolves customer complaints.
  • Compiles departmental data on patient caseload to ensure appropriate staff levels.
  • Performs scheduling tasks.
  • Stays abreast of and complies with all state and federal laws including HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA.
  • Adapts to change in positive and professional manner.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience*

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible customer service work experience; preferably in a medical setting.
  • Call center experience is a plus.
