Scheduling Coordinator (fully remote)

This is a part-time remote position and working hours of 7am-10am EST.

Job Description: The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for all maintenance, coordination, and communication of scheduling for EAC learners and therapists.

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency of scheduling while focusing on cancelation mitigation, rescheduling of missed therapy hours, and proper utilization of the therapist.

Reports to: Director of Operations

Elevation Autism Center is an independently-owned provider of early intervention ABA services to the Atlanta community. Our company is focused on serving the unique needs of children from 1- 5 years old with comprehensive programming delivered in a fun and engaging environment. We are seeking a remote Scheduling Coordinator to lead the daily communication, organization and maintenance of client and staff schedules across two clinics.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and effective schedules for EAC clients and therapists.
  • Daily and weekly scheduling audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Point of contact for therapist call offs.
  • Will be required to be on-call to resolve last-minute scheduling issues.
  • Primary contact for communication and collaboration for advanced scheduling changes to both learner and therapy team.
  • Monitoring and ensuring utilization targets of full and part time therapist.
  • Creation of new client and new hire schedules with the Director of Operations and in collaboration with the respective clinical management.
  • Tracking and inputting of therapist call offs, time off request, blackout dates and advanced offloading.
  • Parent collaboration regarding attendance, vacations, and changes in availability, while staying in line with polices set in place by EAC.
  • Daily creation of center support and therapist lunch schedules.
  • Responsible for maintaining appointments based on authorization limits.
  • Ensuring the center maintains at or below target cancellation rate.
  • Meet departmental goals and individual goals as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Prior scheduler or medical scheduler experience required.
  • High level of accuracy and speed in data entry.
  • Highly organized and detailed in work performance.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, execute on deadlines, and produce high quality deliverables with attention to details.
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred: experience working in healthcare sector.
  • Central Reach experience preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
