Responsibilities:

AS SCHEDULING AND EXPORT CLERK, YOU WILL:

  • Facilitate communications and information flow between customers, sales, production, shipping, and management.
  • Interact with customers and resolve customer service problems; defuse sensitive issues with diplomacy and tact in a timely manner.
  • Project image of quality service to customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, fax, and email.
  • Prepare and produce export documentation.
  • Confirm delivery/collection of in/out bound shipments.
  • Maintain records, data, and other information.
  • Assist in reception/answering phones.
  • Maintains quality service by following standards and departmental processes and procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement to build customer relationships and service both internally and externally.
  • Communicate and participate as part of a team.
  • All supplemental duties, responsibilities, or non-essential requirements as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • High school diploma required
  • General understanding of how MRP works
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail oriented and must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, customer-focused environment.
  • Extremely reliable and dependable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in similar role
