JOB SUMMARY:

A Patient Scheduler arranges appointments between patients and physicians in our medical facility.

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Answering and making calls to patients to schedule appointments.
Responding efficiently and accurately to patients, explaining what is required for an appointment, and verifying medical insurance.
Confirming appointments
Communicating via cadence and work queues.
Template management
Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.
Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call center metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service.
Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the practice and position.
Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma

Equivalent education, experience, and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
1. Effective communication skills with staff, ancillary personnel, and physicians
2. Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications
3. Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with others in a diverse environment
4. Ability to prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment

5. Bilingual speaking in Spanish preferred
