Job description

We are looking for motivated & professional individuals with strong work ethic to join our team! The position consists of scheduling patients to see our providers and technicians in a fast-paced call center environment.

- Answering phone calls and greeting patients over the phone.

- Scheduling appointments for new patients, follow-ups and testing.

- Checking for prior authorizations and copay amounts prior to scheduling.

- Advising patients of of insurance and patient payment responsibilities.

- Checking and returning voicemails daily.

- Entering patient demographics.

- Checking faxes and insurance portals.

- Checking patient message forums and replying to messages.

- Checking patient communication software for cancellations.

- Scanning and importing documents.

- Sending faxes back to referring offices.

- Operator tasks including provider paging system and urgent provider calls.

- Other assigned tasks by the manager or doctor.
