SCCM Engineer

Candidates must be located in the following states; Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
Candidate must be Authorized to work in the United States without Sponsorship.

Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in:
  • Experience with Ivanti/Landesk tools
  • Experience with SCCM Server implementation
  • Scripting / automation
  • Experience working on Windows servers
  • Experience with VMWare

Preferred Experience:
  • Knowledge of PKI a plus

Basic Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Description:
Part of a larger team delivering high quality Computer, Network, Storage and End-User Infrastructure technology solutions, on-going support to the business. Independently completes infrastructure project assignments. Plan, research, evaluate, design, and engineer the enterprise's technology infrastructure. Provide technical support and troubleshooting, cost estimates, justifications, and recommendations. Produces technical documentation, support and configuration. Manage, plan, and maintain technical platforms including upgrading systems. Monitor system performance and installs and configures hardware. Responsible for collaborating with other Job Families such as Project Managers, Architects, Solution Engineers, Technicians, Business Analysts to deliver consistent, reliable technology solutions that leverage our technology standards, architectures and best practices.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
Working independently, responsibilities include the following related to Computer, Network, Storage, Cloud and End-User infrastructure:
  • Perform infrastructure project assignments.
  • Plan, research, evaluate and design infrastructure solutions.
  • Provide a high level of technical support and analysis, operation, administration, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Adhere to approval processes as part of change management, incident management and trouble response scenarios.
  • Prepare cost estimates, justifications, application requirements, alternative solutions, and technical recommendations.
  • Prepare technical documentation including procedures, manuals, and reports.
  • Review and adhere to budgeting and approval processes while assisting with annual and project planning.
