We are seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to be based in our Aurora, CO Facility.

This position Supervises and coordinates sanitation standard operating procedures with sanitation workers and lead. Identifies, reports, and resolves conditions that compromise employee safety, food safety, or overall sanitation effectiveness.

Applicants can expect to make between $45,000 to $55,000 a year upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.

Your Day to Day

• Leads the sanitation team in safe working practices including chemical handling, PPE and OSHA requirements.
• Supervises the process of cleaning and sanitizing all processing and non-processing areas and ensures compliance with all Sanitation Standard Operating procedures (SSOPs), Checklists and Forms, Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), food safety and quality standards.
• Conducts routine inspections for cleanliness on process equipment and environment for compliance with FDA, SQF audit schemes as well as company standards.
• Capable of creating SSOPs, forms, checklists.
• Identifies, reports, and resolves conditions that compromise employee safety, food safety, or overall sanitation effectiveness.
• Ability to provide on-the-job training
• Maintains proper documentation of sanitation and pest control programs, chemical use, forms, and all corrective actions.
• Understands the manufacturing process and equipment/parts design to ensure proper equipment sanitation and efficient startups.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of related Sanitation Experience in a food manufacturing environment including one year in a supervisor capacity or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Detailed knowledge of cleaning protocols, chemicals, and safety.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual. Must be able to read and write in English and Spanish
• Proficient with SSOPs and 8 steps of sanitation
