Job Position: Salon Manager, Full-time

We are seeking extra ordinary highly motivated, positive, upbeat leader with a passion for quality service who can lead and mentor the Salon and retail staff, drive revenue and oversee the department’s operations, financial levels, and ensures excellent customer service. They are responsible for overall direction, coordination, and supervision of the salon operations and team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Lead, monitor, and analyze the daily salon operations for OYESPA. *Sustain a healthy, positive team environment ensuring that service operations are delivered smoothly. *Handle employee scheduling to ensure there are enough service providers to meet customer demand. *Cultivate a quality team and maximize their potential by setting individual team member goals and objectives and make sure they adhere to company policies and procedures. *Monitor staff performance and provide guidance for growth. *Provide a full range of the services offered in the salon, including cutting, styling, waxing, or whatever is offered. Lead by example, giving customers service of the highest quality while keeping an eye on overall operations. *Responsible for recruiting and fully staffing the salon by hiring and training new team members. Identify strengths and weaknesses in personnel needs and help develop their skills. *Help with building salon’s client base by encouraging customer retention and increasing repeat visits from patrons. Track and review client retention data and adjust the service strategy as necessary. Implement marketing activities and carry out a promotional calendar to increase sales productivity. *Maintain sanitation guidelines making sure that facility is properly cleaned, and that all equipment is in working order. *Ensure that tools are adequately sterilized, linens are washed, and a proper inventory of supplies are maintained. *Ensure Customer Satisfaction by interacting with clients to get feedback about services and facility cleanliness. *The Salon Manager will oversee Cosmetologists providing Hair, Color and Nail services.

Desired Skills and qualifications

*Must have Cosmetologist Salon Manager License and Advanced Practice Esthetician Salon Manager License. *Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and critical thinking skills to handle all managerial responsibilities. *Be detail-oriented team player with leadership and time management skills and the ability to anticipate the types of services that clients would most enjoy and benefit from and implement these types of services into OYESPA. *Customer service, problem solving and interpersonal to interact closely with clients, personnel, vendors and the public daily. *Knowledge and understanding of all salon services and product line. Experience in Aveda product line would be a plus. *Strong organizational/planning and computer skills. *Be social media savvy. *High School Diploma or GED *5 years of experience in Salon Leadership *Experience in Nail- Manicures & Pedicures.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00 - $43.00/hour.
