As Sales Support Specialist, you will work closely with the Southeast Region’s Area Sales Managers to drive our E-mobility North America sales revenues growth and margin performance, by providing proactive and responsive sales operations support to our regional EV Charger customers and Partners. You’ll have an opportunity to build enduring customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and sales process support. ***This is a remote-based position in the Southeastern Region of the U.S., with the preferred state location in Florida***

Your responsibilities

  • Collaboratively support generating, developing, and securing sales of our extensive portfolio of E-mobility’s EV charging stations and solutions within the region, including support to new and existing customers in the Transit & Fleet, Public charging and Home & Destination charging business segments
  • Always represent E-mobility consistently and professionally, and promote and ensure a positive customer experience for all customers by leveraging you strong communications and relationship building skills
  • Support RFI and RFP requests from new and existing customers, by obtaining information, conducting analysis of requirements, and providing input to response quote tendered
  • Provide pre-sales support to prospective clients, including presenting sales tender submissions to clients
  • Work collaboratively in a team selling environment with sales colleagues, our product management and marketing teams, and the pre-sales technical support team, as required to obtain new business
  • Learn and share knowledge of market trends, competitor actions, customer trends and installed base landscape in support of the Global Sales team in the development of new product and services offerings
  • Support and help resolve customer and sales process issues, and provide responsive communication and follow-up as needed

Your background

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with 2 or more years of direct sales operations support, inside sales, or technical customer support experience, preferably in an electrical products industry
  • In lieu of a degree, equivalent direct experience of 4 years or more years working closely with customers, providing customer service support, and responding to a wide variety of customer inquiries, will be considered
  • Experience working with distributors, electrical contractors is preferred; Direct experience in the electric transportation or EV-Charging Technology industry is a significant plus
  • Must have ability to drive results through solution-oriented thinking leveraging commercial insights in alignment with client’s needs
  • Enthusiastic, team player with strong collaborative and influencing skills; having a strong passion for sustainable technologies in highly preferred
  • Must have ability to handle and manage several concurrent customer orders and quotations
  • Fluency in English language required, with excellent communication skills; Bi-lingual in Spanish or Portuguese highly desirable
  • Ability to work and excel in a high demand, customer-centric, outcomes-based environment required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and passport to be able to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%, based upon business need
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
