JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE:
Assist sales personnel in day-to-day functions around the sales process. Be a contact point for external customers in a customer support/inside sales role. Work with the assigned sales reps and external customers to reach and exceed sales quotas established by Peak Technologies. Ensure timely order processing of customer purchase orders that are received. Effectively handle and/or be a liaison on customer service. Provide supports to sales and operations for inventory, part creation, shipping, receiving, assembly.

This position will support current staffing and ensure accuracy of inventory thru cycle counting, and other inventory activities. Create materials and sales Bill of Materials in the ERP system to support sales orders and assembly process. Occasional physical labor will be required to assist with shipping, receiving and production operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Act as an inside support specialist for the assigned reps and their assigned customer base.
  • Provide SFDC Quotes on any requests including hardware, software, media, service and support at the direction of the salesperson for customers.
  • Make outbound calls to customer.
  • Serve as liaison between salesperson and the corporate office.
  • Serve as liaison between salesperson and vendors as needed.
  • Provide efficient and quick turn around on processing of customer POs once received into the Peak-Ryzex Customer Service team.
  • Take complete ownership of customer order from receipt of PO until the product has shipped and invoiced.
  • Work with other departments to solve customer related issues.
  • Serve as liaison for salesperson for return authorizations to customers for product returns and oversee Return and Replacement order process.
  • Run daily order reports to send to sales reps.
  • Run weekly backlog reports daily and review for order hold and credit hold issues, delivery issues, order entry accuracy and to send to salesperson.
  • Provide customer assistance with invoicing issues.
  • Provide administrative support as needed for a variety of items surrounding the day-to-day duties of a salesperson.
  • Provide pricing and availability to salesperson as requested.
  • Creative, provide, analyze data and reports for customers as needed and directed by salesperson.
  • Serve as a liaison with Inside and Field based System Consultant on projects and technical validation of quotes.
  • Utilize excellent oral and written communication skills with both internal and external customers at all times.
  • Analyzes regular inventory results to streamline process and introduce efficiencies.
  • Reviews, analyzes & adjusts inventory counts.
  • Create and manage Material and Bills of Materials (BOM’s) in the ERP system.
  • Develops and executes new vendor/product inventory carrying processes.
  • Assist in the management of inventory stocking levels (Min. Max).
  • Analyzes asset utilization and availability to provide guidance to production.
  • Analyzes material and inventory utilization and help identify root cause for unplanned variances.
  • Supports and improves transactional process controls, address issues and opportunities.
  • Supply data for key performance indicators and other visual scoreboards.
  • Audits current processes for data integrity and conformity to standard practices and policies as well as cost saving opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Assists in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in on going incremental gains in quality and efficiency.
  • Achieves operational goals set by the Company.
  • Supports corporate initiatives and decisions.
  • Performs other duties/special projects as assigned.
  • Carry out shipping and receiving functions including unpacking and moving boxes.
  • Uses computer to enter records
  • Transfer’s materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
  • Marks materials with identifying information
  • Maintains physical condition of the warehouse and equipment
  • Assist in assembly of products in production

EDUCATION+EXPERIENCE+KEYTRAITS:
  • Must have at least five (5) years prior sales operations support experience.
  • A 4-yr college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Must possess a dynamic, entrepreneurial and passionate style, with the ability to gain trust among the team and develop strong customer relationships.
  • Must be detailed and results.
  • Must execute multiple and varied tasks all in a timely fashion.
  • Must have strong time management, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Must be organized, and possess determination to succeed, team-based attitude, and problem-solving ability.
  • Work independently to solve problems involving differing situations and ambiguity, requiring creativity to search for solutions among learned and unlearned alternatives. Frequent analysis, independent judgment and discretion are required to determine appropriate courses of action.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Extensive experience with SFDC, SAP and other Internet/cloud-based tools such as LinkedIn.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including ability to demonstrate excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, customers, and with the general public, including tolerance for constant interruptions and ambiguity.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze information to develop recommendations.
  • Demonstrate superb problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Manage many priorities simultaneously, establish and meet deadlines.
  • Perform the essential physical job functions.
