Job Description Summary

As an Inside Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for uncovering opportunities (i.e. DaTscan, DaTQuant) with Clinicians that treat movement disorders and dementia. It’s an exciting position in a growth business, where we are bringing new tools to market that help clinicians solve some of healthcare’s toughest challenges. There is a large, growing unmet need in this space and this position brings new diagnostic tools and solutions to the neurology market.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop deep knowledge of DaTscan and DaTQUANT in order to articulate the key selling messages to all relevant customers

  • Seek to understand the diagnostic algorithms and care pathways used by physicians to evaluate patients with neurodegenerative diseases who are being evaluated for Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremors, Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia with Lewy Bodies or other causes of neurodegenerative decline

  • Deliver solutions through well-articulated value propositions and talk tracks. Establish rapport with potential customers virtually and convert into leads for field team.

  • Achieve individual sales call targets, collaborating with field Neurology Account Managers to help move leads through the sales process

  • Remote selling and cold calling to new and existing targets based on pre-call planning and in-call questioning to understand customer needs, craft solutions and drive utilization

  • Create relationships with key targets by delivering valuable information in condensed timeframes and creatively earning access rights to difficult to see physicians

  • Track customer contact results / outcomes and opportunities through CRM tool and applicable tools / trackers

  • Address most product-related questions and promptly locate answers/experts for questions he/she cannot answer, or which must be answered by an expert

  • Additional sales support responsibilities to include but not limited to - collaboration with Neurology Account Managers within your coverage area to assist in submission process for regional events, contract requests to Commercial Operations, customer credit requests and responding to online generated leads

  • Direct ownership over a subset of clinician targets across half of the United States

  • Provide indirect support to field-based Neurology Account Managers assisting in achieving shared objectives across a varying subset of assigned accounts across the Gulf and East Zones

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sales)

  • Experience selling remotely in an inside sales environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities through effective organizational, people, and time management skills

Desired Characteristics

  • Desire to work in start-up styled business with a strong drive to establish and grow market share

  • 3+ years of relevant and progressive sales experience, in a medical, healthcare, technical, pharmaceutical or Life Sciences field preferred

  • Awareness of clinical tools and drive adoption is key to success

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team setting towards meeting established objectives

  • Ability to apply a range of traditional and nontraditional problem-solving techniques to think through and solve issues creatively

  • Ability to build rapport and relationships by remotely interacting effectively with employees and external contacts (i.e. MD and office staff) at all levels, demonstrating the awareness of their needs and responding with the appropriate action

The salary range for this position is 54400- 68000 - 81600 USD annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement, and paid leave.
