We are inviting you to apply for an exciting Sales Manager position, at the nearly-new La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Round Rock East – Kalahari. In this role, you will focus on finding and building relationships with new clients.If you love meeting new people and find yourself to be naturally inquisitive, this may be a perfect position for you! Connecting and asking questions often will lead you to your next big win. This position offers variety, sometimes you'll be at your desk making phone calls and sending emails, however you will also make offsite sales calls to prospective clients, enticing them to visit the property.

The ability to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays is important in this role. You can expect to attend sales events and tradeshows, networking and staying on top of the latest news in the community will assist in achieving sales success. Your primary focus is to solicit, develop, and maintain business travel and group sales through direct sales efforts, ensuring financial goals are exceeded.

A Kalahari Sales Manager has strong communication skills, is comfortable presenting, creating appealing proposals and winning contracts. The desired candidate is naturally competitive, yet also will work well as a part of a team. Understanding and contributing toward what it takes to provide beyond expectations experiences for our guests is priority.

A proven record of developing and closing group business and understanding the hospitality/tourism industry is helpful, however willing to develop a candidate that is outgoing, friendly and aligns with our hardworking culture. Salary: $45,000-$55,000

Salary is indicative of experience and includes commission.
