At Techcyte, we are building SaaS-based AI solutions for human, veterinary and environmental testing.


Our environmental brand, Sporecyte, is the first AI-based mold analysis and reporting service for Home Inspectors and industry professionals. Our goal is to make Sporecyte the leading mold laboratory solution for Home Inspectors in the next two years. We are changing the entire industry and have a product that is head and shoulders above competitors.


The Sporecyte Sales Development Representative (SDR) will assist in expanding our customer base to new Home Inspectors and continuing relationships with existing Home Inspectors. As the main contact with our clients, the ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting new clients and nurturing existing clients to generate new business.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, follow -up, and educate on a high volume of leads into prospects and customers
  • Continue Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to generate sales revenue
  • Create and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Represent our company’s products and services by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding to show how our solutions meet customer’s needs
  • Comfortable talking with prospects and internal/external customers
  • Manage and update Techcyte’s CRM system with detailed information throughout the sales process
  • Strong entrepreneurial personality, self-motivated and self-managing; strong team orientation and ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Capacity to develop relationships quickly over the phone with home inspectors and industry professionals
  • Collaborate with the product and support teams at Techcyte to resolve customer issues

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated, driven, self-starting individual with a desire to build and advance a career at Techcyte
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with HubSpot CRM and Google Workspace experience is a plus
  • or another CRM software

Education and Experience:

  • A degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field is preferred
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English
  • 2 years of sales experience is preferred (any industry)

Preference for candidates in Utah, eligible candidates must live in and be authorized to work in the US

We need to analyze the equivalent of a Blu-ray movie worth of images in the cloud in only a few minutes while staying reliable and accurate. Major challenges include transferring, processing, and storing terabytes of data; creating queuing systems that balance turnaround times with costs; and building a pipeline around machine learning models that meet the accuracy requirements of human healthcare.


Work from Home

While we do have offices available for use, our workforce spends the majority of their time working from the comfort of their home. Every team member has a daily standup meeting to touch base with their team and a monthly all hands meeting for the whole company to get updates. Additional meetings are created as needed, and the majority are impromptu. The person who fills this position will need to be close enough to our lab in Orem, UT that they can go there often.

Compensation

$40,000 - 45,000 base salary

$66,500 - $67,500 OTE

$22,500 annual on target earning commission


Commission is based upon the number of home inspectors who sign up and use Sporecyte. It is paid out on a quarterly basis and is uncapped for exceeding the set goal. Potential additional commission earned is based on a 1:1 ratio of percentages signed up after meeting the set goal. If 10% more home inspectors sign up after meeting the set goal, then the commission pay out would be 10% more than the target commission.
