Position Summary

The Sales Development Representative, New Sales (SDR) performs inside selling activities to new LCPtracker, Inc. prospective clients in the assigned vertical marketspace. This position reports to the Sales Manager, new Sales. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating qualified leads for the Account Executive. The SDRs would reach out to prospects and qualify them by asking questions on customer needs and identify the decision-making process. The Sales Development Representative will need to build relationships with prospects in their assigned vertical to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

Duties/Responsibilities

SDRs to react to inbound leads that come in from demo requests, content downloads, referrals, and other lead sources.

Reps prospect opportunities by targeting a very specific type of buyer and generating interest mainly via calls, emails, or social media.

Assisting the account executives in sales process of a prevailing wage/labor and workforce compliance software solution

Promotion of LCPtracker products

Helping to develop new client relationships

Preparation and support to the account executive for development of proposals

Create a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet quarterly/annual quota requirements

Meticulously utilizes CRM system and computer hardware/software to enhance productivity

Participate in some local, regional, or national trade shows and educational conferences.

Other duties as assigned

Sell to one, assigned vertical market

Assist assigned Account Executives (AE) with SDR activities

Using a CRM system to manage sales cycle

Education and Experience:

Preferred Education and Experience

Associates degree or bachelors degree preferred.

Minimum 1++ years of SaaS (Software as a Service) sales experience.

Proven success with lead qualifying

Strong written and verbal communication

Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Work Environment

This position performs its duties from our New Braunfels, TX office. This position operates in a professional office environment and role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Days/hours worked are dependent on the workload at the time. General availability and presence in the office is expected during regular business hours from 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday. However, some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

There is no major travel requirement for this position. However, infrequent travel may be necessary to visit remote office(s), attend conferences/industry events, etc. Attendance at our annual corporate Staff Retreat is required, which typically takes place in December. This 2-3-day retreat takes place locally in Southern California. Attendance at our annual User Conference as assigned.
