The Greer Group is seeking a Sales Counter Support Associate for our Heating Equipment Supplier located in Durham. This is a Direct Hire position.

Primary Job Functions:

• Assist customers/counter with ALL special orders and non stock items.
• Support store and counter staff with “large” line item orders and job quotes including commercial.
• Direct ships - verifying shipping and freight. Bill customer and receive PO.
• Point of contact for web orders & e-commerce

Secondary Job Functions:

• Onboarding process and implementation
• Follow up with customers
• Follow up on open orders and PO's
• Point of contact for training
• Assist with setup training and special events
• Monthly CSA conference calls for best practices

Other Job Functions:

• Operate in a “Team“ oriented atmosphere
• Attend training sessions when needed
• Participate in various company functions

Requirements:

Must be knowledgeable of the HVAC/R industry and products

• Basic computer skills for email, Word, Excel, JEN, and the DDI Inform system
• Good communication skills with employees, owners, customers, and management
• Prompt and regular attendance
• Appropriate dress
• Successfully pass a NC background check and drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
