How you make a difference:
The JBCT Administrative Assistant is a key member of the team responsible for providing daily data deliverables to the Department of State Hospitals (DSH) under the guidance of the Health Services Administrator, Program Manager, or higher licensed health professional. The job requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office to manage large amounts of data and produce timely quantitative reports and quality assurance audits for the Sheriff's Office, the company, and DSH. As an integral part of the JBCT team, the Administrative Assistant provides general assistance to support the overall success of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere strictly to DSH and company P&P manual, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Manage large amounts of data, delivering timely quantitative information to stakeholders, including Sheriff's Office, the company, and DSH.
  • Communicate effectively with JBCT clinical staff regarding patient referral packets, screenings, admission plans, and reports to the court.
  • Assist JBCT clinical team with paperwork for admissions, transfers, and discharges from the program while maintaining keen attention to the daily patient census.
  • Provide general assistance to the team, including troubleshooting Excel spreadsheets and oversight of program supplies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
  • High School Diploma, GED, Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree
Experience
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Office management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability

Compliance
  • Must obtain and maintain security clearance throughout the course of employment.
  • Must pass background investigation conducted by the Company and/or Facility as a requisite for initial and or continued employment.
  • May be required to undergo reasonable suspicion testing for being under the influence of controlled substances, including prescription, legal, and illegal substances, including marijuana.
  • Must undergo security training and orientation on Facility Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Must follow county facility policies and procedures.
