Currently, Universal Dedicated, Inc. is seeking full-time Planner candidates for our Greer, SC On-Demand operation providing expedited ground transportation services to customers! Our Coordinators play a pivotal role in the overall success of our operations in being the face of the company to our customers.

Position Requirements:

· Associates degree or higher in a business-related field; current students encouraged to apply

· Previous logistics experience is excellent, but not required

· 2+ years working in a customer service environment

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Coordinator Responsibilities:

· Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of freight by assigning qualified service providers to meet customer demand

· Evaluating and monitoring service provider performance, making recommendations to management with respect to the performance of providers

· Assist in business freight quoting, with the ability to accept or refuse business based on customer and company-specific criteria; negotiate spot pricing

· Monitor shipments and provide updates to customers

· Ensure provider compliance with respect to all federal, local, and company regulations

· Respond to service provider calls pertaining to accidents, towing, cleanup, load coordination, and reporting

· Other tasks as delegated by company management
