The Smith & Nephew Robotics Clinical Account Representative is passionate about building relationships with surgeons and making an impact in patient outcomes! This is accomplished through training surgeons and hospital staff on the accurate use of Robotics technology. You will serve as the robotics specialist, launch new programs, drive Robotics adoption and provide operating room surgical support.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead assigned accounts and growing robotic case volume through the addition of new surgeon users, robot pre-sale activity support, patient marketing initiatives and various revenue generating activities.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Robotics Business Development Manager (RBDM), Joint Reconstruction and Capital Sales teams to implement new robotic accounts.
  • Assist Capital Sales team in assigned territory to provide pre-sale clinical validation as needed.
  • Launch and implement new robotic applications and platform in existing and new S&N robotic accounts.
  • Collaborate with RBDM in assigned accounts to build and execute a business plan to drive robotic utilization. (i.e. surgeon cold calls, presentations, in-servicing, patient marketing, etc.).
  • Work directly with RBDM’s, Regional Managers and Reconstruction Representatives to drive robotic case utilization.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Licenses/ Certifications: Must have valid driver's license.
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience in medical device sales with proven track record preferred
  • Proficiencies: Ability to exceed assigned surgical volume quota.
  • Travel Requirements: 50-75%
All field sales professionals that are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role, must successfully compete our credentialing process, which often includes COVID 19 vaccine management.
