RN Nurse Weekend Supervisor
Job description
We are looking for an experienced RN to fill the RN Weekend Supervisor position.
We have two shifts currently available 7am - 3:30pm and 3pm - 11:30pm.
Ideally the candidate should have managerial experience in a LTC setting.
RN Weekend Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants
- Ensure appropriate staffing
- Frequent rounding throughout the facility
- Support and assist unit nurses with Admissions and Emergency Transfers as needed
- Completion of shift report
- Communicating with physicians, family members and team members
- Ongoing assessment of patients, and timely response to their needs
- Serve as point person in the absence of the Director of Nursing
- Long Term Care Supervisory experience required
