Home Healthcare Nurse Manager - Case Manager - $48/hour

Brightstar Care is seeking a motivated, person-centered, Registered Nurse / RN to join our team for our local office in the Portland area as Nurse Manager! Our Nurse Manager Duties:

• Effective communication with patients, families, and case managers.

• Admit home care cases through assessments and develop care plans as coordinated with physicians and patients' needs.

• Supervisory home visits to oversee cases and staff.

• Competency skill check of caregivers and nurses in our clinical lab.

• Assist with training, development, and continuing education programs.

• Compliance with Joint Commission standards and State/Federal regulations.

• The Nurse Manager may, at times, provide direct care to clients and training to field staff in-home and on-site.

Required Experience, Credentials, and Education:

• Registered nurse with a current unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in Oregon.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program.

• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience with at least half of that time working in home health or related health care organization.

• Case management skills are required.

• Experience with adults and senior adults is required.

• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct staff.

• Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills.

• Comply with accepted professional standards of practice

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, staff, and community.

• Treat clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, and respect and presents a positive public image.

• Policy development is a plus.

• Knowledge of/experience with the Joint Commission is desirable
