We are currently seeking dedicated, hard-working, RN/LPNs to join the team!

  • The LPN completes assigned nursing related services to each patient and links patients to the physicians and to outside medical resources.
  • They inform the clinical team about medical issues and are available for emergency medical situations and provides all services under supervision of M.D., and Director of Nursing.
  • He/She is responsible to assist with medical and history screens, providing routine nursing care, review of medication logs and assisting in overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Holds a current license as Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the state of Florida and maintains current licensure per state requirements
  • Is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a chemical dependency/psychiatric setting preferred; preferably in an inpatient, partial hospitalization and/or outpatient setting and/or meets educational requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Provides routine nursing care under the supervision of the Medical Director/ Director of Nursing
  • Thoroughly documents in patient chart, specifically Nursing Assessments and Nursing Notes, in a detailed and timely manner in accordance with facilities standards
  • Takes verbal orders from the Medical Director, documents them in the patient record and carries them out accurately and professionally
  • Administers medications when patients are unable to do so themselves
  • Oversee Infection Control surveillance.
  • Facilitate Medical Groups as directed by Clinical Director / Director of Nursing.
  • Encourage efficient utilization of supplies and equipment to prevent waste.
  • Maintains effective communication between outside medical services and the facility
  • Meets with therapists to provide information about patient medical problems
  • Assists the treatment team in incorporating medical issues into treatment planning
