Florentine Gardens is an 80 bed skilled nursing facility located in Loveland just off of I275 on Wards Corner Road.

We have a current opening for a qualified Registered Nurse to assist the Director of Nursing Services in assessing resident care needs and implementing appropriate interventions.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional observational, supervisory and critical thinking skills and will have consistent time management and organizational skills.

Additional essential duties and requirements:

• Establish open lines of communication with other members of the management team and all nursing personnel
• Work cooperatively with administration, nursing personnel, physicians, community agencies, residents, families and consultants
• Complete reports and assignments accurately, while adhering to established deadlines
• Actively participate in all required interdisciplinary team meetings
• Observe and enforce facility safety policies and procedures at all times, including resident equipment and other potential hazards throughout the facility
• Observe and enforce facility infection control polices and procedures at all times
• Maintain flexibility to meet the needs of the nursing department
• Adhere to daily rounds on assignment, implementing corrective action when warranted
• Monitor new admissions on assignment to ensure that appropriate care is provided according to each individual resident’s plan of care and physician’s orders
• Be cognizant of resident diagnoses and assure that individual needs are met in a timely manner
• Adhere to and enforce all nursing policies and procedures
• Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing Services

Minimal Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse in good standing in the State of Ohio
• 2 years experience in a similar role
• Be knowledgeable of the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
