Responsibilities

The Risk Adjustment Representative travel up to 100% of the time and consist of driving to locations close to your home, as well as driving to locations that require overnight stay for up to a week at a time. Laptop computer and a portable scanner to retrieve medical records which will be uploaded into a database will be used. Risk Adjustment Representative’s time management skills are a priority to schedule appointments and visits to physician offices in a timely efficient manner to meet all deadlines. This role is considered "work at home", however, you will be required to travel up to 100% of the time to provider offices in this region.

Required Qualifications

• 12 months or more of technical experience
• Must have reliable transportation
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems
• This role is part of Humana’s Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge and experience in health care environment/managed care
• Strong knowledge of ICD-9/10 codes

Additional Information

• Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.
