The Opportunity:

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to developing the next generation of Electronic Warfare (EW) technologies and solutions. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to research EW algorithms to provide the U.S. warfighter cutting edge capabilities in the management and dominance of the RF spectrum.

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform the Army by performing key systems engineering, integration, and test functions across multiple RF EW programs. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, with a background in signal processing and modeling and simulation (M&S), to help us develop techniques for distributed sensing across the EW domain.

On our team, you’ll utilize modern programming languages, such as MATLAB and Python, to perform analysis on EW technique effectiveness. You’ll impact the Army by identifying shortcomings and proposed modifications to the Army's family of systems. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in RF sensors and countermeasures while broadening your skillset into areas like multi-agent behaviors, Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

You Have:

  • Experience with EW signal processing

  • Experience with RF EW sensors, including integration and data processing

  • Experience with modeling and simulation environments

  • Knowledge of RF or EOIR EW sensors in areas of geolocation techniques, correlation of RF data, and multi-sensory data

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with EW systems supporting DoD platforms and scenarios

  • Experience with the development of algorithms

  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts

  • Ability to work in a lab environment developing algorithms and coordination of sensor inputs

  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
