We are an airport concessionaire owning and operating name brand restaurant and retail concepts inside the DFW, IAH and Dallas Love Field Airports for the past 27 years.

We are seeking a Restaurant Controller for our Support Center located two miles from the Dallas Love Field Airport off of Mockingbird Lane.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description: Operations Controller

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Works with Corporate Controller to implement economic strategies, objectives and policies for the growing company

· Oversees the accounting and finance teams performing accounting and financial reporting functions for multiple entities

* Assist with Month End Close

* Fixed Assets and Reconciliations

· Maintains/manages the accounting processes and records in accordance with GAAP

· Manages the annual audit process

· Manages and leads the budget process

· Direct the continuous review of pricing and implementing pricing changes through all systems

· Designs, operates and monitors the organization’s system of internal controls

· Coordinates accounting with operations management to evaluate and implement various business initiatives including process improvement, system implementation and upgrades

· Provides management with timely reviews of organization’s financial status

· Provides operations with timely P&L reports and operational analysis for use in managing the business

· Oversees Accounts Payable and Data Entry functions

· Implement P-card solution with integration to R365 Accounting system

· Provides expertise in all financial areas for start-up of new entities: general accounting, budgeting/forecasting, cash management and decision support

· Other duties assigned as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities

· Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training office employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, and ensuring work is completed timely and accurately.

Qualifications

· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year College or university; five or more years related experience, including hands-on full-cycle accounting. Experience with partnership and/or multi-entity accounting highly preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required

Other Skills and Abilities

· Proficient in computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite of products. Restaurant 365 experience preferred

· Ability to analyze, research, disseminate and make recommendations on multiple projects

· Keen analytical ability, detail oriented and able to provide positive leadership and direction to Accounting/Support personnel

· Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality

· Ability to plan, organize and execute projects and initiatives

· Ability to conceptualize and design organization and accounting policies and procedures

· Ability to interact effectively with all levels of team members, joint venture partners and owners

· Ability to effectively manage work through others, manage change and conflict

PHYSICAL AND HOUR REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a minimum of 45-50 hours per week with expectation that more hours may be required to reach all goals, responsibilities and to meet the needs of the business.

This position requires a 100% attendance expectation with the exception of approved time off requests.

Ability to ambulate through all square footage for the corporate office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
