Schedule Details: Pool requirements are 32 hours per 6 week schedule. One holiday per year. We offer self scheduling, flexibility and the ability to work in the ICU, NICU and general areas.
What You Will Do:
The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides care to patients requiring respiratory care services. Identifies abnormal/normal pulmonary data, ABG’s chest x-rays, and lab values. Demonstrates and maintains competency of emergent bedside bronchoscopy procedures. Demonstrates and maintains competency of the INOvent.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Wisconsin State License – RCP
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required
- BLS (CPR) or ability to obtain at time of hire; NRP or ability to obtain within one year of hire
- PALS preferred
- ICU experience strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain continuing education requirements per NBRC guidelines
