Position Overview: The Resource Coordinator, MRI will be responsible for ensuring operations at the centers meet the expectation of all customers. This entails supporting a team of front desk registrars, technical assistants, technologists, and physicians while fulfilling the duties typically performed by pre-registration, scheduling, customer service representative, insurance verifier and physician liaison. Key to success will be the skill to forecast future schedules to maintain safety and improve productivity. This position will be a visible leader for the center.

Production bonus eligible.


Essential Job Functions

  • Respond as needed to physician or physician's office needs. 10%
  • Creatively resolve conflicts that may occur when expectations are not met. 10%
  • Receive requests from physician's offices for scheduling patients. 5%
  • Provide pre-registration services 40%
  • Prepare schedules of staff to ensure appropriate skill mix 5%
  • Maintain effective communication with appropriate departments regarding schedule changes or special circumstances. 20%
  • Respond to concerns over OOP 10%

Non-Essential Job Functions

  • Ability to explain radiologic examinations
  • Maintain compliance logs such as ACR, AHCA, OSHA, LDR, etc when needed.

Requirements

Education Required

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Previous Related Work Experience Required (include number of years)

  • minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service type role

    Other Skills/Abilities

    • Exceptional quality customer service is mandatory with each client interaction
    • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • CD import/ upload of prior images
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively based on daily workload.

    • Ability to sit or stand as required.
    • May need to lift 25 lbs.
