Residential Superintendent - Springfield, MO

We’re the largest and fastest-growing builder in the Springfield market, and we need a full-time Residential Superintendent to join our team. You’ll be responsible for managing all functions of the construction job site as it relates to building quality residential homes.

Your main duties will include:

• Directing and supervising staff and trade partners
• Preparing project reports and conducting daily walks
• Adhering to project schedule
• Approving trade partner work orders
• Monitoring project cleanliness and quality

We require at least one year of experience as a Superintendent for the homebuilding industry and a high school diploma or equivalent, though higher education or additional experience with a production home builder is preferred.

Desirable knowledge, skills, or abilities include:

• Management of construction resources
• Reading and interpreting plans and other construction documents
• Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork and cooperation
• Action-oriented and decisive
• Customer-centric
• Strong verbal & written Communication skills
• Above-average aptitude for the use of jobsite and mobile technology

Finally, you must have a clean driver’s record and a valid Missouri driver’s license, and you must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
