CLEAResult is seeking a Residential Field Specialist to work in support of Efficiency Maine’s residential efficiency programs. The Specialist will play an important role in making sure these programs are delivery effectively and in a manner that “drives verifiable, cost-effective energy efficiency and customer satisfaction.” The Specialist's responsibilities will include finding ways to improve the programs, collecting best practices to share amongst a network of hundreds of Trade Allies and to promote quality installations and conducting various tasks in support of other Efficiency Maine pilots, studies or evaluations.

This is a remote position but may eventually transition to hybrid/field position.

Acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support Account Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits or new construction. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and residential energy audits (on-site verification's and electronic review of field data entered into program database)
  • Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

  • 4-8 Years relative industry experience preferred but not required
  • High school degree required
  • Relevant industry technical certification/training preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, verbal communication and reporting skills
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to balance and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
