Position Summary
The Research Specialist will develop web-based software of 3D nuclei segmentation. This person will manage the database of light-sheet microscopy data, develop web-based interface, process the microscopy and data of mouse images, and perform quality control of image processing results.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or Keras.
  • Experience with biomedical image processing.
  • Ability to present/visualize outputs to multidisciplinary audience.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with computer science and engineering preferred.
  • Experience with web-based software development preferred.
  • Ability to master custom software packages dedicated to image analysis in a timely manner.
