Position Overview

Replenishment Analysts have an essential role in maximizing profits and minimizing out-of-stock by optimizing inventory supply and financial objectives through item placement and product replenishment. They work in a team-focused environment to support the merchandising team by managing store inventory and making decisions to ensure inventory levels are sufficient to support sales and financial objectives.

Responsibilities

Replenishment (forecasting, order review, adjusting replenishment tool parameters):

Ensure assigned categories meet or exceed stock targets while maximizing the return on inventory investment.

Optimize the replenishment system's rules and settings to minimize manual intervention.

Utilize current, historical, and seasonal trends to forecast and identify sales opportunities and inventory risks.

Communication with stores & vendors:
Drive collaborative planning between vendors, merchants, and store operations to ensure timely shipment of purchase orders.

Store inventory analysis and additional analysis based on business needs:

Provide analytical support to maximize the return on inventory investment, maximize the effectiveness of preseason sets and ensure that customer demand is met.

Support new initiatives arising from the merchandise team's needs related to larger scope projects and/or assignments, such as placing seasonal buys for key items that are not included as part of their daily tasks and responsibilities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree required; academic background in business or related field required or similar experience.

3 years of professional work experience, including a minimum of 1 year with forecasting responsibilities in Inventory management, supply chain, finance, merchandise buying, or planning.

Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel required.

Experience with JDA Merchandise Management System (MMS) or similar system preferred.

Strong analytical ability to gather information, interpret findings and make recommendations.

Strong problem-solving skills are needed to resolve challenges in a timely manner.

Must be curious and comfortable with change.

Ability to prioritize, multi-task to deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Travel minimal, less than 10%.
