This position is for a Rental /Service Manager. Responsibilities include insuring scheduled maintenance, along with evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment and rental equipment. Assisting customers in a polite and friendly manner. Preparing rental forms, explaining and scheduling rental equipment and rental fees to the customer. Demonstrating operation and safety features to the customers on all equipment rented. Person must be willing to attend training schools for latest updates and skills for outdoor power equipment. This position makes equipment recommendations and ensures that units are maintained, communicates the status of repairs to store manager and other employees to ensure great customer service. This position will operate out of the Ossian Hardware and Bluffton Rentco locations. Additional responsibilities include providing knowledgeable advice to store customers in outdoor power and in Tool Rental, writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs, checking to make sure tool is operating properly and demonstrating its proper use (as needed). In addition to supporting customer repair needs, they are also responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department. All invoicing, rentals, maintenance scheduling is computer based so computer skills are nessessary. Pay: $12.74 - $23.55 per hour
