JOB DESCRIPTION
An employer is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to join an existing team for a large food and beverage service client in Charlotte, NC. This position leads and serves as a member of a team charged with configuring, maintaining and supporting a complex server environment which includes Windows and Linux platforms in both a physical data center and IaaS in the cloud.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years AWS experience
- 3-5 years' experience developing infrastructure and platform pipelines for agile delivery to application teams
- Experience with VPC, AZs, Subnets, Route53, ALB/NLB, WAF, Stacksets, Security Groups, NACLs, EC2, Systems Manager, Azure Devops, Ansible, Jenkins
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. RHEL 6.x/7.x, CentOS, SUSE and Windows Server 2008 R2 and greater.
- Fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts (Routing protocols, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP)
- Experiences building infrastructure as code CICD pipelines using CloudFormation, Gold Images, configuration management automation.
- Strong communication skills
