Responsibilities:
The Business Systems Analyst II role is to identify and formally document business requirements for existing and new business application initiatives. May work on more strategic and larger scale initiatives as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Research latest technology, industry process standards and accepted best practices in preparation for
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to elicit requirements that best meet business needs and
- Partnering with business users and act as a liaison between business and technicalteams
- Drives delivery of requirements within an Agile/Scrum framework
- Work with the business and technical teams to understand complex workflows and business needs
Creates, manages, and owns a feature backlog
Qualifications:
- Works with the Development team to groom stories and refine the backlog
- Translates business needsinto technicalsolutions and corresponding businessrequirements in the form of
- Creates User Stories based on the INVEST model along with Acceptance Criteria, supporting documents,
- Creates and updates documentation of system data flows and functionality
- Querying data sources and performing analysis in support of requirements and problemresolution
- Supports QA and UAT processes: reviewstest conditions to ensure proper coverage, participates in QA and UAT defect review and resolution
- Partner with IT and business teams, and follow through with problemresolution
- Demonstrate the ability to learn new techniques and adapt to using the tools aligned with the organization,
- Help define acceptance test objectives; assist in system and integration testing
- Participant in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Work with end-User during User Acceptance Testing
- Assist in evaluating software change requests, determine business need or conduct root cause analysis
Qualifications

3-5 years of Business Systems Analyst experience- Take accountability and ownership of things you do not have 100% ownership of in yourspace
- Demonstrated experience as a highly motivated technical professional
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with business and technical teams to understand requirements, impact analysis
- Team player that works wells with individuals & thrives in a complex, global organization
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills
- Communicate effectively (verbally and written) and problem solve with various partners, vendors, offshore development teams and internal groups
- Experience with System Development Lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
- Prior experience and familiarity with interfacing with QA and application and productionsupport
- Familiarity with multiple software development disciplines
- Experience documenting detailed requirements, design documents, and workflows
- Ability to preserve and push through when obstacles are in the way
- Ability to know when to escalate an impediment
- Ability to verify integrity of all application changes
