PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Religious Education Director will assist the Bishop in his role as Shepherd and Teacher by directing and overseeing the catechetical activities of the Diocese of Green Bay.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Religious Education Director will assist the Bishop in his role as Shepherd and Teacher by directing and overseeing the catechetical activities of the Diocese of Green Bay.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Possesses a bachelor’s degree in theology, Catechetics, Education, or a related field. If possible, has or is working towards a master’s degree.
- Requires ongoing study and growth in theology.
- Must be a practicing Catholic and committed to faithful adherence to the Teachings, Traditions, and Disciplines of the Catholic Church.
- Knowledge of theology, Scripture, and educational methods and practices is also required.
- Knows that the process of discipleship and encounter is different for each person yet has underlying tenets which are common for each person’s journey.
- Has experience in parish or school life evangelizing and forming young people.
- Understands how a personal relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ is central to the development and formation of young people and their families.
- Must also possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, leadership and administrative skills, listening skills, decision-making skills, program development skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work with a variety of different people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, social media platforms, the internet, and all basic office equipment is required.
- Must have the ability to radiate Christ in everything.
- Must plan, organize, and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with Pastors, Pastoral Leaders, Curia Staff, and the parish personnel as well as establish and maintain effective relationships with same.
- Must have ability to implement age-appropriate methods and materials of evangelization and formation.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects and priorities as required.
