What does a day-in-the-life look like? Generate value towards the processes through the implementation of the best practices in preventive and predictive maintenance, facilitating the deployment of the MMS and CMMS.

What does success look like?

  • Deliver methodologies and systems to the execution teams to improve the reliability, maintainability, efficiency, and availability of their assets. Guarantee maintenance’s compliance to the internal and external control norms by auditing entities (IATF, ISO, insurance companies, Metalsa/Proeza internal control).
  • Participate in the implementation of new projects (innovation, kaizen, new operating lines) to ensure compliance to the maintenance standards and the assets early management.
  • Design, redesign and optimize PM and PdM incorporating world class practices, resources efficiency, labor allocation, and failure-mode centered. Guarantee the effectiveness of the planned maintenance through robust designs
  • Implement, and improve the Metalsa Maintenance System through the design of standards, personnel training, material distribution, know-how sharing, and follow-up through auditing
  • Implement the Computerized Maintenance Management Software through personnel training, modules deployment, manuals, tutorials, and follow-up through auditing
  • Define the strategy and run analysis to optimize maintenance spare parts (rotation, classification, incorporations, delisting, obsoletes, audits) to contribute to the working capital reduction in the storerooms
  • Lead the implementation of the predictive maintenance strategy, developing experts, managing specialized tools, job plan designs, documenting success cases, and ensuring the connection with the CMMS to have real-time equipment condition monitoring
  • Ensure maintenance’s compliance with the different internal and external control organizations and audits (IATF, ISO, insurance companies, Metalsa/Proeza control departments, MOS)
  • Concentrate, keep updated, and manage the maintenance’s centralized information (MMS, CMMS, taxonomies, asset information, CapEx, spare parts, RAV, manuals, licenses, software, lessons learned, RASICs, etc.)
  • Standardize lessons learned, best practices, and procedures to improve the maintenance processes and share with the rest of the miniplants where applicable
  • Participate in new program launches, ensuring the early deployment of the MMS practices and tools required before the start of operations. Train the maintenance personnel to start the new projects with the MOS required maturity level according to the plant readiness checklist

What you will bring:

  • 5 to 6 years in maintenance and reliability practices
  • BS in Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or relevant field
