Registered Nurse / RN - St. Catherine of Siena Nursing & Rehabilitation

** $10,000 Sign-On Bonus **

St. Catherine of Siena Nursing and Rehabilitation and St. Catherine of Siena Hospital are proud members of Catholic Health and have served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years. St. Catherine's is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. REGISTERED NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of residents within the skilled nursing setting. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNAs, LPNs/LVNs and supportive staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching. Maintains role as resident advocate with a focus on the facility's mission.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed in the State of New York as a Registered Professional Nurse. Bachelor's degree preferred. Demonstrated leadership ability in nursing practice in a Residential Health Care Facility for a minimum of three years preferred.
