VNA of Albany (VNA), located at 35 Colvin Avenue, Albany NY, is a certified home health care agency providing skilled nursing care, rehabilitative services (physical, occupational, speech pathology therapies), and medical social work to individuals in the comfort of their homes.

VNA of Albany is proud to be the oldest continually operating home healthcare agency in New York State. We are looking for talented and dedicated R.N.s to serve patients in their homes.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs nursing services for the care of Maternal Child Health patients, the prevention of disease and the conservation of health to individuals and families; promotes coordination and effective management of patient care services rendered by an interdisciplinary team of workers. Provides direction and supervision of LPN's, HHA's. Accepts additional responsibility dependent on previous nursing practice, preparation, and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current NY State R.N. License
• Must have at least one-year experience in medical, surgical, obstetrical, or pediatric care or home health care with MCH experience.
• Home Care experience desirable
