Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Float in Coos Bay, OR

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Float to provide exceptional care to patients in various departments of our healthcare facility in Coos Bay, OR. As an RN Float, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in multiple departments of the facility, including medical-surgical, telemetry, and critical care units
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatments
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Document patient care activities and accurately maintain patient records
• Educate patients and their families about their healthcare needs and promote wellness and prevention
• Meet regulatory standards for nursing practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current state RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a float or critical care setting
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing demands
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
