River Edge is looking to fill the position of Registered Nurse with/at our Crisis Service Center in Milledgeville, GA. An important alternative to waiting or an afterhours trip to the emergency room, the River Edge Crisis Service Center - located at River Edge-Baldwin - operates 24-hours-a-day year-round to provide outpatient crisis stabilization (23 hours or fewer) to adults facing an acute mental health crisis. When needed, skilled Crisis Service Center staff can facilitate smoother transition to higher levels of care as well.
In this role you will:
- Provide critical care on the CSC Unit.
- Assess client health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients.
- May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
You will need:
- A current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse
- Acceptable background check/drug screen
- Acceptable references
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health/psychiatric nursing field.
