Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice Homecare Night-Shift On-Call

An Excellent Opportunity
We have openings for Registered Nurses to work on-call in multiple locations across our service area – Mount Airy, NC; Pilot Mountain, NC; Hillsville, VA; Martinsville, VA. In this position you will respond to patient calls that are received after business hours. Support may be in the form of telephone triage or face-to-face visits depending on the needs of the patient.
Duties
- Responds to calls from patients, families, and caregivers
- Provide direct nursing and supportive care for the terminally ill patient
- Recognize, report, and document changes in patient/client condition
Schedule
- Our weekday and weekend on-call RN’s provide nursing support for hospice patients after regular business hours from Monday at 5pm through Friday at 8am and Friday at 5pm through Monday at 8am.
- Specific schedules will vary.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
