First Class Smiles is seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Hygienist to join the practice Full-time! We value the close relationships we build with our patients and their families and are looking for a talented Dental Hygienist who can help us continue to create an excellent experience for our patients. The full description is as follows:

Location: 780 Lee Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016

Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $43-$48/hr

Experience required:

• At least 1 year of hygiene experience

Requirements:

Schedule:

• Monday: 9:00AM-7:00PM
• Tuesday: 9:00AM-7:00PM
• Wednesday: 8:00AM-5:00PM
• Thursday: 8:00AM-5:00PM
• Friday: 8:00AM-3:00PM (Every other)
• Saturday: 8:00AM-1:00PM (Every other)
• Sunday: Closed

Responsibilities:

• Performing routine dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, to remove plaque and tartar buildup
• Performing comprehensive oral health assessments and screenings to detect early signs of dental and periodontal diseases.
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, such as brushing, flossing, and mouthwash use, and providing individualized recommendations for at-home care.
• Taking dental x-rays and providing diagnostic information to the dentist to aid in diagnosing and treating oral health conditions.
• Administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to patients as needed to minimize discomfort during procedures.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs and medical history.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43.00 - $48.00 per hour
