A Pricing Analyst job based remotely is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting pricing analytics as well as building and maintaining corporate reporting to track in-market performance vs. strategy.

What you will do:

  • Partner with Sales Leaders by maintaining Sales initiatives templates and track actual performance against actual price performance.
  • Support Sales leaders with Excel templates and tools and reports to manage retail pricing, distributor margins and acquisition costs. Raise issues and develop perspective to improve revenue realization or market share in-line with company strategy.
  • Consolidate pricing audits (excel competitive price reviews), national retail price surveys and work with Field Sales on identifying pricing opportunities. This includes transforming the data into actionable insights, with dissemination to Sales, Marketing and Finance.
  • Acquire and maintain working knowledge in the use of the various software applications, i.e. VISTAAR relating to the sales and marketing pricing process.
  • Manage the creation and updating of all Vistaar pricing girds and reports to disseminate to internal sales teams for price negotiations with distributors.
  • Provide ad hoc analytic support to business as required to bring field-based perspective to pricing / distribution decisions.

Position Requirements:

  • 1-3 years related experience or equivalent in Accounting or Finance or Pricing required. Wine, Spirits or Beer industry experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Advanced abilities highly desired in Excel and PowerPoint with the availability to use VBA to create queries, formulas, macros and linked-spreadsheets.
  • Preferred working knowledge of AC Nielsen.
  • Preferred working knowledge of Price structure platforms and Cognos based systems (volume and financial metrics).
  • Automation experience a plus (Power BI, SQL, Python).

Your Compensation:

$67,912 - $88,400/yr. based upon relevant experience.
