POSITION: Regional Operations Manager (ROM) - Metro Denver

RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Health Center Operations

SALARY: $87,314.82- $98,961.32 / year

SUMMARY: Regional Operations Managers are responsible for directing the operational activities of the individual Health Centers within their Regional Zone. They are accountable for cultivating high performing Health Center Managers that exceed expectations for Key Performance Indicators and comply with all compliance regulations and agency policy and procedures. To do this, Regional Operations Managers are expected to be strong leaders, mentors, and coaches and utilize those skills to build their management and staffing line.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or another closely related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of demonstrated healthcare management with increasing levels of responsibility required
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience with demonstrated success required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Hire, onboard, train, evaluate, and terminate health center managers
  • Serve as the primary coach for all health center managers within ROM Zone
  • Develop health center managers to be high-performing, competent, skillful, and enthusiastic leaders
  • Accountable for the performance of all designated health centers as measured by key performance indicators
  • Ensure all designated health centers compliance with all regulatory requirements, and agency protocols and procedures
  • Support health center managers in navigating the PPRM system to ensure the needs of their health center patients and staff are effectively met
  • Provide input and collaborate on key initiatives involving medical services, lending the operational and health center perspective
  • Lead the successful operationalization of strategic initiatives and rollouts within their Zone
  • Inform budget creation for their health centers with the input of their managers and the support of other administrative functions as needed
  • Oversee the effective management of their health centers budgets
  • Build collaborative relationships within the community to help further departmental and agency-wide goals
  • Guide and support performance corrections and intervene in serious matters; liaise with and escalate to other teams when needed
  • Monitors morale and check in periodically with staff at all levels
  • Identifies career progression opportunities and requirements for health center staff
  • Monitor financial, quality, performance, and other data to assure the quality of care and sound business practices. Adjust accordingly
  • Monitor and respond to patient complaints
  • Provide health center financial status to staff and stakeholders regularly
  • Audits and ensures compliance with operational regulations such as HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and minor abuse reporting
  • Provides information for staff meetings to facilitate communication between administration and the health center. Attend staff meetings periodically and as needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance standards for managers, hold managers to high standards, provide feedback regularly, coach as needed, and terminate managers when necessary
  • Function as interim health center manager, as needed
  • Develop strong working relationships with other PPRM departments to assure the most effective provision of medical services and adherence to legal and medical standards.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the security department to ensure staff and patient safety, and possess a working understanding of internal security system (cameras, alarm codes, contact lists, etc.)
  • Respond to security alarm calls as needed.
  • Promote and foster a healthy work environment.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Participates in abortion services (participation can include referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc.)

COVID-19 Vaccine & Booster: PPRM requires that all employees are fully vaccinated and boosted as a condition of employment. An employee is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or one dose of a single- dose vaccination (Johnson and Johnson/Janssen). The COVID-19 vaccine booster shot is required by the first day of employment, or five months after receiving the final dose of the original vaccine series, whichever is later. Proof must be uploaded upon starting. You will upload a picture or pdf of your vaccination card(s) on your first day of orientation.

Flu Protocol: All employees working directly with patients or working in a health center will be required to have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient contact or while in the health center from October 1 – April 30 each year (Flu Season). The flu shot will be available to health center employees in the health center in addition to being able to seek the flu vaccine externally through the medical plan or reimbursement.
