National Forest Foundation (NFF) is pleased to offer a regular, full-time, remote, position to a candidate who will be an integral part of the Reforestation Team. This position will lead and grow the small business partnership program, provide strategic partnership support to the Director, and will oversee a pipeline of tree planting partnerships, while supporting the overall reforestation program. The successful candidate may be located anywhere in the United States.

Position Function: The Reforestation Partnerships Coordinator reports directly to NFF’s Reforestation Partnerships Director and works as part of a collaborative team responsible for the reforestation program objectives. The Coordinator is expected to manage a robust program of work in close coordination with the NFF Development/Communications Team, external partners, as well as other departments and stakeholders as needed.

Position Duties and Responsibilities: The Reforestation Partnerships Coordinator will:

• 
  Oversee ‘The Sapling Program’, formerly the small business program, by researching, analyzing, and finding new ways to cultivate new donors and grow existing donor commitments for the program.
• Build, maintain, and manage close and mutually beneficial relationships among a portfolio of tree-planting prospects including small businesses, individual donors, and corporate partners ($500-$150,000).
• Provide direct support to the Reforestation Partnership’s Director on top tier donors, through coordination of meetings, follow up, and partner engagement activities, such as travel to conferences and customer engagement events.
• Contribute to team objectives through support to the Reforestation Partnerships Director, Reforestation Partnerships Program Manager, and other colleagues with prospect research, partnership stewardship, reporting, and partnership administration.
• Support the expansion of the NFF reforestation program by actively improving processes across the team, creating new development opportunities, and collaborating across departments.
• Contribute to the expansion of team growth with partnerships integration in Microsoft Dynamics and CRM software.
• Lead social media communications, working directly with Marketing and Communication team.
• Prepare and draft partner communication materials, including but not limited to partnership decks, social media-related items, partner resource kits.
• Prepare and draft programmatic content, including but not limited to blog posts, donor newsletters and programmatic decks.
• Strengthen the NFF’s visibility and brand awareness through creative content creation and tailored partnership amplification.

Education and Qualifications: NFF expects the Reforestation Partnerships Coordinator to possess the following educational and experiential qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with proven results in fundraising, communications, program development and/or management, and/or partnership development and implementation.
• Demonstrated commitment or willingness to learn about the forest management and reforestation, especially as it relates to the NFF mission and the Reforestation Program;
• Experience with program oversight and partnership management preferred.

Abilities and Skills: NFF expects the Reforestation Partnerships Coordinator to possess the following proven abilities and skills:

• Ability to work independently, managing a variety of projects and assignments effectively, with minimal oversight, in a remote environment.
• A proven track record of leading projects with leading partners and donors in a clear and professional manner through excellent written and oral communication skills, and superb interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well and be flexible in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to build partner and donor relationships by communicating the NFF mission and Reforestation Program with enthusiasm, passion, candor, and nuance.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work in a timely and well-organized fashion.

Location: This position will be based at a remote/work-from-home location and requires reliable internet access.

Compensation: The NFF offers competitive compensation commensurate with candidate skills, experience, and location. Total rewards at NFF, beyond salary, include generous paid time off, employer contributions to health savings accounts, matching funds for retirement, and more. NFF has recently (August 2022) implemented a new compensation program with grade levels as part of our commitment to transparency. The salary range for this position will be in the $56,000 to $75,600 range, with a locality percentage increase depending on residency. Please note that the indicated salary range describes the full range for an incumbent in this position. Most new staff generally start at the beginning of the range percentile to ensure internal salary equity.
