SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Work with a team comprised of medical professionals that are serving adults with mental health issues and brain injury in a residential setting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring clients attend groups and counseling as assigned
- Provide supervision to clients at all times during and by keeping the daily schedule of the program
- Assisting Client's through the admission process, as needed
- Orienting new clients to the facility
- Ensure client's complete daily life skills including personal hygiene
- Ensure the safety of resident's (physical and emotional) well being
- Ensure that the program policies are followed and document any deviation of said policies
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Supervise clients during meals
- Other duties as assigned including assisting with meals if needed
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working with disabled adults in a health care setting
- Must be self-motivated with a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor
