Job description Basic Function: The Recovery Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the ongoing operations of the residential clients and facility to ensure adequate supervision and safety at all times. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Core duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary. · Maintain the overall security and operational control of the facility. · Maintain chronological written records of events that occur during the shift and document any unusual occurrences in the facility log book. · Utilize Microsoft Teams to keep all relevant staff updated on incidents that take place throughout the day and/or night. · Complete statistical reports, daily census reports, incident reports, and additional reports or forms deemed necessary. · Monitor resident and visitor movements inside and outside the facility. · Control contraband in the facility through general observation; this may include conducting searches as directed by management. · Randomly tour the facility and grounds at least hourly to ensure a high level of security; document these rounds in the facility log book. · Supervise the completion of daily chores by residents. · Transport clients from main campus to clinical campus. · Ensure residents observe all fire and other safety measures. · Ensure all resident medications are stored in separate, labeled containers in a locked medication cabinet. · Participate and obtain certification in crisis management and first aid/CPR. · Answer incoming calls in a prompt and professional manner. · Immediately notify on-call staff of any emergency situations. · Assist in the serving of meals and maintenance of the facility as needed. · Comply with and enforce specified regulations and requirements as outlined in Volunteers of America's policies and procedures and Transitional Housing Operations Manual Required Skills · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Interpersonal competences and professional behavior · Very good organizational competencies · Excellent strategic planning · Ability to prioritize · Efficient in time management · Analytical thinking · Attention to details · Patient oriented · Compassion and ability to empathize · Patience · Able to work under pressure · Ethical and responsible · Able to perform well without close supervision · Self motivated and dynamic · Competent and flexible · Positive attitude · Very careful · Medical knowledge · Clinical experience Education and Training · Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent · Valid Ohio driver’s license required · Experience in residential setting preferred Certified Peer Recovery Supporter preferred Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Edit job Open View public job page Job Type: Full-time Salary: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical specialties: Addiction Medicine Schedule: 12 hour shift (3 days a week, rotating weekends) COVID-19 considerations: None Ability to commute/relocate: Circleville, OH 43113 License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Shift availability: Overnight Shift 7pm-730am Work Location: One location Edit job Open View public job page Job Type: Full-time Salary: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical specialties: Addiction Medicine Schedule: 12 hour shift 3x12 COVID-19 considerations: None Ability to commute/relocate: Circleville, OH 43113: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Shift availability: Night Shift (Preferred) Work Location: One location
