Introduction



We are recruiting to fill a limited term Contact Center Agent position (Records Program Associate) in the Division of Corporate and Consumer Services. We’re seeking applicants who have excellent data entry skills, enjoy interacting with customers and are eager to work in a fast-paced and varied environment!

This position is headquartered at the Hill Farms State Office Building on the near west side of Madison. We are also conveniently located close to the restaurants, shopping, and entertainment of the Hilldale Mall.

Position Summary


In this position you will process and manage the public record of all types of organizational and business documents submitted to the division as required by state statutes. This will include accurately assessing and applying filing, recording and service fees, endorsing accepted documents, and preparing communications to detail observations in documents submitted for filing. This position will assist in daily mail duties, scanning, processing copy orders, and emailing.

Salary Information


This position is in schedule-range 02-11 with a salary of $16.73 per hour.

This is a Limited Term Employment (LTE) position and limited to 1,039 hours in 26 consecutive pay periods (1 year).

Wisconsin residency is required for Limited Term Employment positions.

Limited Term Employment (LTE) positions are not civil service classified positions, do not give any rights to permanent civil service classified positions and do not lead to permanent status.

Qualifications


A minimally qualified candidate must have experience in all of the following:
  • Experience responding to questions and communicating information to internal/external stakeholders or customers (e.g. electronic correspondence, telephone, in-person).
  • Using computer applications in a business setting to complete data/record keeping tasks (such as updating, maintaining, tracking, logging, entering data, etc.)
In addition, a well-qualified candidate may also have experience in:
  • Experience applying records management techniques
  • Reviewing and/or interpreting statutes, policies, procedures or other complex documents
